Marge Dudeck

A native of South Bend began playing the piano at age 5.  She has been described as a combination of Bette Midler, Patsy Cline, Barbara Streisand.  She was 17 when she began lip syncing songs on the televison program "Hoosier Favorite".  After she married she moved to Green Bay, WI where she played at a piano bar entertaining Packers coach Vince Lombardi and his wife and also members of Lombardi's chamionship football team.

The Cathedral of Saint James


The frame building of a Gothic style church was completed on a lot on Wayne Street east Lafayette Boulevard.  The cost of the building was $1800.00.  They are responsible for St. Margarets House a foundation who helps women and children with finding jobs getting clothes and food.  One of their biggest fundraisers is the Shortcakes on the Blacktop held every June.

Missy Richey

In 2012, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and immediatley had to start chemo. They found it during a routine tonsillectomy. It spread from her throat/lymphnodes, into her colon and there was also a tumor on her liver. She fought a hard battle, and won! She is now in remission. She started a fundraiser called Missy's Bags of Hope and takes donations of goods or money to buy things to fill her bags and takes them to patients that are in treatment. The bags are filled with small things blankets, lotion, journals, crossword puzzles. Simple things that cancer patients don't always feel like shopping for, but they bring comfort to the patient.
